At present got an old Zanussi, which (IMHO) is showing signs of advanced bearing wear. Waiting for answers in the washing machine section .We’d like another Zanussi, but only colour is white. For some strange reason the surface of both freezer and washer( both white)have gone yellow and are mottled. Nothing gets it off, so white is now out of the question .Spotted a silver one of above in Currys and it’s available on line with a decent discount and 2 year warranty .Any good ?

Does that mean a recommendation. I’ve always asked the pros same question when buying white goods “how often do you see it back for repair” .The one they admit to never seeing is the one I buy. Never failed yet. Mrs gets approx 13 years to a machine .

Now I’ve had a look at recommendations, and Bosch get a recommendation on here. Bosch WVD245S3GB is the silver version of WVD24520GB ( in white) . Seems to tick boxes. Any care to comment on which ( LG vs Bosch) is better of two .

As posted on the problem site, rumble got a whole lot worse ,so we’ve opted for this sites recommendation ,in silver , Bosch WVD245S3GB .For her ,it’s love at first sight. Hopefully ,the experts have come up with the goods again. Certainly seems a lot more robust than the Zanussi. Time will tell .
