Hi,

I wondered whether anybody could help on the above Fridge Freezer model.

Does anybody know what a flashing ‘ice cubes in a glass’ icon indicates on the digital display concerning the ice maker function?

Recently had a new ice tray and sensor fitted as the old tray had cracked but have a fear since it was fitted by an engineer who come out to the house to do so that he has affected the motor part of the ice maker itself as it’s power light will not stay on solid and flashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, is the ice bin back where it should be? On the bin that collects the ice is a magnet (at the top) which interacts with a reed switch on the icemaker itself.
If the reed switch doesn’t detect the magnet, then the light on the icemaker will flash and it won’t make ice.

Thanks on this. I will get the guy who’s coming today to check on what you have said here.

Thanks again on this advice Eldar59. It was exactly what you said and the fitter was able to replace the reed sensor and it appears to be working well again.
