Liebherr bio-fresh/freezer

I have a Liebherr Premium BGNDes2986 (9984016-00) combined fridge and bio-fresh/freezer. About a two months ago the bio-fresh suddenly displayed ‘0’ when it usually displays ‘1’. It then froze everything inside. I defrosted it and it seemed okay until last night. Same thing happened, this morning everything was frozen. I switched off the bio-fresh on the top control panel, but when I got home tonight it was still frozen.

I’m confused why it seems to still be cooling when switched off, and why it suddenly freezes up or no reason. The door has not been left open, the alarm has never sounded, I haven’t done anything unusual.

Any advice?

Temperature setting range: The temperature is automatically controlled and is kept constant at just above 0°C. It may, however, be changed slightly: Press Alarm button (5) for approx. 8 seconds. The letter “b” will appear in the BioFresh display (8) and the current setting will be shown in the freezer display (1). Now press the temperature setting buttons (2). The temperature can be changed by +/- 5 increments. Each adjustment interval reduces or increases the temperature by approx. 0.5 K. The setting mode is disabled by pressing the Alarm button.
