    Hi

I am fixing a Liebherr CUN 3033 Comfort NoFrost Fridge Freezer

Client recorded symptoms were that Freezer OK but Fridge does not get cold no matter how high she turns it.

My initial advice was for her to remove all food open doors and turn off for 24 hours as she said she had another fridge freezer in her garage.

She left it off for 48 hours then turned it back on, still same problem.

So I arranged a call out as I was passing her area anyway, I had found some Liebherr CUN 3033 diagnostics online but they did not work, however, I noticed the door alarm was not sounding when I had the fridge door open to do the diags.

I opened freezer door and the alarm DID sound after a short time.

So my diagnosis is that it is a sensor for the fridge door that has failed and it must think the door is open so it stops the fan (the client said it is quieter than normal although I can hear the freezer working.

I would like to know if others agree that this is likely to be the problem?

Is it an easy fix, how many hours?

Also has anyone got a source for the technical manual for this Liebherr CUN 3033 Comfort NoFrost Fridge Freezer, I have operations and user manuals but nothing that gives guidance for taking apart, there are no obvious screws or panels.

The rear looks very hard to access, the only other access I saw were screws behind panels for flipping door.

If anyone has any advice on fixing this unit or has experienced a similar problem I would be pleased to hear your input.

    TIA

The fridge door being open does not affect the freezer fan operation.
The door has magnets built into them which operate reed switches, freezer door open fan off, 90 seconds door open alarm, fridge door open again 90 seconds alarms, and operates fridge light only.
