Hi there,
this is Liebherr CUN 3033 index 22/124, Service numb:0907994
My Fridge freezer works fine but keeps beeping while the numbre 3 and the superfrost button flash.
I checked with Ohm-meter the 3 sensors connected to pcb. (1- Black 60KΩ, 2- Green “open”,3- White 10KΩ). the middle one is obviously faulty.
But the problem is my fridge is right up FULL with food for days, the freezer too. Hence my question: what is the faulty sensor? where is it located? What is its part number? So I can ordre it in advance. Any Help would be really appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi Enofi,
You need a new evaporator sensor in the fridge, get the repair kit on this site part 9590206.

Hi Tony ,
I just been delivered an evaporator sensor ordered on 6/7/19.
the part I searched on the website is 6942811;
the part i’ve been proposed by UKwhitegoods website shop has the code number 9590206.
but today I have been delivered a sensor which part number is 6942626 !!!
Is there a change to the manufacturer code number or is it a different item that I should return?

Hi Tony,
Sorry to bother you again, I ordered the sensor part 9590206 as suggested for my fridge freezer
Liebherr CUN 3033 index 22/124,

I did the search on Ukwhitegoods website shop for the 9590206. I carried out with the order. I have been delivered the item labeled 9590 206 -00
but on the wire of the sensor is printed 6942626 by the manufacturer which is different from all of the sensors of the fridge freezer as shown per the following table:
I contacted spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk by email to raise my concern but they didn’t help in any way.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Printed on the original sensor will be the part number for it, but as the new sensor comes in a kit with junction box and 2 crimps it will have a new part number, if you have got a 9590206-00 you have the correct part to repair.

So I had the same problem. This great article helped me fix the fridge with this replacement thermistor part, stop beeping constantly and the correct fridge temperature can be set again. The fridge now beeps as normal when the door is left open. All seems to work OK.

However, the Superfrost light and the right hand LEDs are still flashing on 3. The left LEDs have stopped flashing following the repair.

Would anyone know how to stop Superfrost flashing? Is my fridge permanently on Superfrost?

You have two green blocks in the display, the left hand block is for the freezer and only flashes with the red alarm when freezer is too warm, and it cannot be moved on the control dial, the green block on the right is moved by the dial to set the fridge temperature from 9-1 in degrees. If you are getting the 3 and superfrost on the fridge ( right ) flashing there is an issue with your repair, check your connections that you made with the crimps.

Hi Tony R

I am having the same issue with the fridge. I ordered a new sensor (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165405519913) which is hopefully the correct one. I just had a couple of questions.
1. Where abouts in the fridge is the evaporator sensor located – do you by any chance have a link to a photo?
2. The little orange crimps (x2) that come in the kit – do you not need to strip the wires down to copper with these, it says to insert wires and then use combination pliers to push down on them. I assume this bites into the copper and makes a connection?
Thanks very much in advance.

You do not have to strip back the two wires prior to inserting in the crimps, the evaporator sensor is located behind the cover which clips off at the rear wall, behind that the sensor is screwed to the back wall, you will need to access the rear of the cabinet and remove the top and middle screws holding the condenser grill insitu, remove the mastic putty and pull the old sensor out, cut off the sensor tip and use connecting crimps and box to join a short length approx 12 inches of the new sensor, reassemble in reverse.

Thanks. Just to clarify the sensor has to be changed from the back of the machine then? I’ve not actually got the fridge in front of me so apologies if that is a silly question.

The joining kit needs to outside the unit behind the condenser grill, as it will not look nice dangling inside the fridge.

Hi, so there were two sensors inside the fridge. One against the back wall and another next to the light. I changed the one against the back wall. Is this right?

That is the evaporator sensor and would of had a green colour bar printed on the old sensor wire.
