ParticipantHi – I made this post getting on for two years ago. The problem has persisted and I am now fed up with it. Also, things in the meat chiller part of the fridge keep freezing, every time I open the freezer door it sets the alram off and it is doing my head in! Would you agree it is time to throw in the towel?
Anyway, I am thinking of getting either a Liebherr CUN3913 or CN3913. From what I can make out the difference between the two is that the CN one has separate controls for the freezer and the fridge. Is that a real advantage? Also the CN says it is forced air cooled. What does that mean and is it better? Also, I am debating whether it is worth buying a extended warraty but I suppose only I can decide that 😕
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Yep, I’d give up. 😉
The CN3913 I’d say.
Forced air cooling in fridge means that the temperature is more stable and recovers faster after the door is closed. It employs a fan to “force” air around the unit rather than relying on falling air.
Or you can just take it on trust that it’s better. 😉
It’s a good machine that, I had a play around with one at a recent training course and I liked it. Not enough to offer a full review of it however.

Thanks for your input Keith. Have ordered the CN3913. I did actually want a stainless steel one which was why I considered the CUN3913 but have had second thoughts about keeping stainless steel clean. Anyway, having seen a white Liebherr in the Comet showroom, the finish is really nice. Can’t wait for it to come – dead excited – I must be getting old 😳

Hi – I thought I would re-open this thread because I am debating the same thing.
I think I am going to go for the CN3913 but it is going to cost me another £130. Presumably the fridge and freezer being on separate circuits makes the cooling on this machine better as one side isnt competing with the other but is this worth another £130?
Thanks
