    Hi any help would be appreciated.. I have a Liebherr Freezer Service number 998618201 with wine cooler on top. Wine cooler is working fine. The freezer has started to freeze over and stops the ice maker working. I have removed all draws and the back plastic decretive cover to look and also to help the defrost proses.I have checked the drain hole and it’s clear I am just wondering is it a sensor or the heating plate at fault. The alloy heating plate part number is 6940252 I believe. Any help with this matter would be appreciated. I am not an engineer in this field but capable of straight forward repairs to a high standard. However I am happy to pay for a professional if it’s recommended. ❓

    It’s probably the sensor but that is a best guess.
