Hi Ian , If The Top Fridge Section Has Frozen The Produce & You Have Noticed Also That The Freezer Is Not Reaching -18c, It Could Be Several Items To Check , 1st is the frost even on the back wall fridge section, 2nd can you hear the compressor running continuously , 3rd If the refrigerant (Gas) has started to leak / Block ! these are the classic symptoms , When You Get Back To Me I Will Be Able To Diagnose What Component Has Failed , (This Appliance Is A Simple One Circuit Refrigerant Flowing From The Fresh Food Cabinet & Then Into The Freezer Compartment)john

Hi John,
1) The frost seems to be in the upper 1/2 (maybe 1/3) more towards the centre.
2) My wife has been in today & has said it has been running continuously all day.
3) I’m not sure how to check the gas for a leakI hope this helps

Hi Ian , Thanks Getting Back To Me, Ok. . . . The Refrigeration Circuit Could Be Restricted Or Refrigerant (Gas Shortage R600a) Microscopic Leak, Unfortunately I Am Not In Your Area, Liebherr Head Office Will Help You With A Local Authorized Refrigeration Engineer,
These appliances are excellent quality so I would contact Liebherr Uk & explain , if I can be of any other help, or you would like to explain further symptoms just mail me . johnJanuary 26, 2015 at 8:33 pm #424025admin

Hi
More likely that its one of the evaporator sensors that has faided.

Yes r600a it could be a sensor fault on other Liebherr models , but not on this one , this model has the good old fashioned type capillary with a diaphragm / bellows , & both compartments fridge & freezer are statically cooled !. . . . . jm

Hi,
I’m still having issues with this FF & need to find a local engineer to come & have a look. Can anyone point me in the direction of one rather than just pot luck from Yellowpages etc
