Liebherr fridge freezing up.

Hi I have a liebherr fridge freezer,
Model cupes4653
Index 20B/001
Serial 9989005 02

The fridge section is freezing up, it goes down to past -10! When on the lowest setting.

I have taken the temp sensor from its casing and measured the resistance and at a temp of approximate 16c it has a reading of 7.8k ohms. When I hold the sensor in my hand the resistance goes down, indicating that the sensor is working. Can anybody tell me the scale of the sensor as it may not be starting at the correct resistance.
If anybody has seen this before any help would be great, I’m not sure if the sensor is faulty or the control pub, big difference in price.

hello ben, sorry for the delay in replying to your post.
where did you take the sensor from? was it in a holder, against the back wall?
the reading you have at the temperature that you’ve given, is pretty much perfect, but i would still say that the sensor is much more likely to be at fault than the board.
obviously at the other end of the keyboard, i can only talk about probability, but i would think that you will need a new fridge evaporator sensor (9590142).
