We have a Liebherr CUNesf3913 fridge freezer, 6 years old. The fridge is not cooling at all, despite several restarts (on the advice of Liebherr. We’ve had the same issue in the past and this resolved it, alas not this time!). Freezer seems ok, though has temporarily lost temperature slightly in the past. Is this likely to be an electronics or compressor/coolant issue and if so, how expensive is it likely to be to repair it? Thanks in advance.
That’s really helpful, thank you. Not planning on a DIY job, just speculating whether it’s cost effective to pay an engineer to come out to diagnose it (or replace it).
Just to let you know it was a simple fix. The (frost free) freezer had frosted up the back as the door hinge at the bottom had come lose. Fixed the door, defrosted the freezer and the fridge has been working perfectly again for 2 days. It was an expensive lesson (£60 for ten minutes of the engineers time) but cheaper than a new one! Have passed this information back to Liebherr as well as we initially called them for advice.
