ParticipantMy Liebherr larder fridge K3150 is overcooling. It happened once before 4 years ago & the sensor needed replacing (pt no 9590142). How easy is it to replace this sensor please – I am reluctant to pay for an engineer visit as the fridge is old.
ThanksNovember 8, 2012 at 7:52 pm #384464TeeMyob

Hello,
Why do you think it is the sensor?
I would say easy.
But the main Service Network for Liebherr have gone bust. You might want to try Liebherr UK or you local authorised agent.

Liebherr have a new service network in place, please get your facts correct before making statements like this! No need to stress out customers. Phone liebherr on the usual number and they will give you the details of your nearest engineer.

Incorrect.
The network is fully running and only had a couple of days which caused a few problems. They are using the engineers direct which ISDAL was using with a few exceptions.

Looking at our statements, I was correct.

HI Group plc
Crown Corporation (UK) Limited
Fridgemaster Corporation Limited
Frigidaire Consolidated Limited
Hardman Isherwood Limited
HI International Limited
H.I. Investments Limited
Independent Service (Domestic Appliances) Limited
Whitwood Warehouse Limited
(all in Administration) (together ‘the Companies’)The Administrators are chasing the then “Liebherr Agents” Who owed any of the aforementioned who were on their sales ledger.
They must of known they were going down the pan and if they had within a couple of days set up another service organisation, this conforms such.
All I was doing was suggesting that the customer contact Liebherr direct and made no false or negative comments with regards to Liebherr, its products or similar.
Just trying to help as usual.

Your initial post was a little alarming, or it could have been for the customer.
A company that liebherr used to carry out SOME of their service work did go into administration.
Liebherr moved very quickly along with the WTA, to ensure continuity of service.
