Re: Liebherr GN2323 Freezer not cold enough

    Many thanks.

Over the last few months the freezer has been running at -18c with the evaporator sensor removed from the evaporator and dangling down in the food area.
With the new sensor wired in and correctly positioned in the evaporator I’m back to where I was at -9C.
I bought a small freezer cheaply off ebay which I have been using more recently now I can only get -9C again.

    Colin.

There are two sensors within the evaporator compartment. One sits actually inside the evaporator and the air sensor sits at the front of the evaporator.
The evap sensor itself is responsible for turning the fan on and so I can’t understand how the fan could run when the evap sensor is actually outside of the evaporator, where it should sit??

    Hi,

I can’t find the part no. 6144436 under thermostats and sensors in the fridge and freezer spare parts section! Please could you confirm the number and let me know if you are able to get it for me?

    Regards

    Colin

hello colin, part number is correct 6144436. it was 6143044 but has been superceded.
if you cant obtain the part from this site, then you could try liebherr on 08444 122655.
please note, I’m not telling you that the pcb is the correct part to repair your appliance.
without physically looking at it, it’s almost impossible to make a correct diagnosis.
    thanks.
