Liebherr K 2330 fridge door problem

Hi wonder if. Anyone can help. My fridge has a door closing issue. When the door is very nearly closed there is quite a resistance and a noticeable clunk. ( sorry the technical term) the door occasionally opens and has to be closed again. The fault isn’t always present but does occur say 7 times out of 10. I’ve observed the lower hinge seating whilst closing the door and can’t see any5hing obvious.

Hi Mike, The problem maybe the light switch jamming and stopping door from closing smoothly.

Hi Tony many thanks for your reply.
ive checked the switch and no problem. The door will close if I lift slightly before closing then athe fridge clunks towards top of fridge. I suspect the upper hinge I’m going to remove the top plastic cover and examine more closely

Hi Mike, there is a torx screw on the face of the bottom hinge, unscrew that and slide the door off with the pin that sits in the lower hinge groove and the bottom of the door, then you can check if the top hinge pin is loose.

Hi again Tony thanks once more, I’ve see the Torx screw on the bottom hinge with the pin sitting in its slot. I’ll take the door off later today and check upper pin. Thanks once more
