Hi, I have a 10 year old stainless steel frost free Liebherr fridge freezer which struggles to get down to temperature in the freezer when I load it up with shopping. It was loaded yesterday lunchtime at minus18 – an hour later was at minus4. This morning it’s at minus6.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am electrically competent.

Hello, do you have the model no? Or even the service no?
    Is the fridge ok?
If the fridge is ok, then the problem is likely to be connected to the airflow (or lack of) that the freezer is reliant upon.
Of course it’s difficult to be precise without actually standing in front of the appliance.

Thanks for the reply ELDAR59. I can’t find the model number, but I think it was something like KGNves3??? (maybe 3486). It has a three drawer freezer at the bottom, about 3/8ths height and fridge at top about 5/8ths height in stainless steel, and no biofresh.
I remember when it arrived it was slightly different to the one I thought I’d ordered, as the temperature displays are hidden when the door is closed. The one I thought I was going to get had a strip across the top above the door with temp displays – so it must have been a new model just out.
I took the drawers out of the freezer and removed the plastic panel at the back. The whole thing was one big block of ice, so I defrosted it and its been fine since.
Is this a sign of a problem to come?

probably not, hopefully just a blocked evaporator drain hole.
