    The fridge/freezer seems to maintain the temperatures in both compartments OK but it throws up an audible alarm along with flashing ‘Superfrost’ and Temperature LED no 3. I accept the alarm to stop the beeping but the flashing’Superfrost’ and Temperature LED no 3 continue to show. After some time the audible alarm begins sounding again. Last week I had to manually defrost the freezer compartment as it was heavily iced up. I thought this freezer was meant to be ‘frost-free’? I have never seen the fan running so I took it out and tested it – it runs fine with power directly applied to the motor. It looks like it maybe a new control board needed but then again I maybe wasting my money if it’s not.
    Can anyone tell me how to disable the audible alarm?
    Any help greatly appreciated.

    you will need a new fridge sensor fitted- should be able to find a local engineer on this site!
