Hello, I have a fridge-freezer Liebherr fridge. Last night I didn’t close the freezer door completely, and when I woke up this morning the fridge was beeping, (beeps the same when you don’t close the door for 1 minute). When I opened the fridge the top panel said that freezer’s temperature is 0C, and the fridge’s temperature is 20~C. I changed the temperature of the freezer, and freezer’s temperature light started flashing and going down (the freezer is working), but fridge’s temperature isn’t going down, it’s rising. By the way this happened before, but my dad, came over pressed some buttons and it started flashing and went down. I can’t contact my dad atm 🙁 , so is there anything that I can try to do my self? I tried switching it off and on, I tried switching the power to the fridge on/off, but it doesn’t seem to work. Thanks for your answers.

P.S. Sorry for my English, not a native speaker.

    EDIT: Model number: ICBN 30560

Do you have the model or the service number?

It’s possibly blocked up with ice and, if so, you’ll have to shut it down for at least 24 hours to let all that melt away then try it again.

    Re: Liebherr problems

    That doesn’t really help.

Here’s what you need to know to find it, there’s hundreds of models…

    But, the advice above stands.

I removed all the stuff from the fridge and put it in the freezer, turned off the fridge, and left the freezer on. Will that work? I really don’t want all the stuff to go bad.

    Re: Liebherr problems

If it’s blocked up with ice as I suspect, the only solution is to completely defrost it. No alternative I’m afraid.

There is a manual defrost setting, but as Ken has already stated we need the correct model and index number, or service number, before we can assist further, you have one two many numbers after ICBN which we know is a built in combination with bio fresh.

UPDATE: Hi, I turned off the freezer and left it open for a some time and turned it on and left it empty before going to sleep. When I woke up temperatures of Freezer and the fridge were both right. Thanks a lot for your help guys!
