I have a replacement fridge door seal from UK WG for my Liebherr fridge Service Nr 0981094-01 but as far as I can see the door is ‘blown’ in construction – the shell, lining and seal all held together by injected insulation foam which may mean the seal non -replaceable? I can see no way to dismantle the door or pull the seal out – it seems to be firmly attached to the door and prising it away seems too reveal the foam filling the cavity. As the part was available I have assumed there must be a way to replace it but am stumped (also baffled by Liebherr’s instance on ordering a replacement pack of fixing screws as there is not a screw to be found around the seal!)

    Any ideas on this? Thanks

    Hi

The old seal is cut out and new one is screwed in. Other option is to order complete door at a massive cost with a bonded door seal.

    Bryan.
