    Hi,

My Liebherr Freezer GP 1466 has a problem.

The freezer seems to be running non-stop but the digital temperature display shows -4ºC. To test the temperature inside the freezer, I put inside the freezer an independent thermometer which showed the the temp. at -28ºC whilst the digital display was still reading -4ºC.
Anyway I replaced the PCB control board but the problem still persists and I am assuming that the problem might be the temperature sensor. So my question is:
Before I buy a new sensor is there a way to test the sensor to see if its broken?

    Thanks

    Mike

Explained in this article is the most effective and quick way to check it…

The Liebherr ones are a thing that seems to cause that sort of error though so I’d be pretty confident assuming that it was faulty.
