    All,

I’ve noticed that at the bottom of the wine fridge, I am collecting quite a lot of water, that I have to extract with my hand every few days (luckily it’s in the garage). The top part of the unit is set to 15c, the bottom 3c.

    Many thanks. Leigh.

as most refrigerator defrost the water goes down a channel into a tube which leads to a tray at the back where it can evaporate. I cant find the owners manual for this but its likely it has a similar system and its blocked

also make sure the door seal is in good condition and is sealing all the way round

Remove the stainless steel cover in the lower cooling zone,by removing the screws, the drain hole is on the left hand side below the cooling plate, insert a cable tie down the hole to clear any obstruction. Liebherr WT4677 index 20C-001

I took all the wine out and the racks, and where the water should drain – there’s a whole load of ice…. I’ve turned off the bottom part, and will then clean the drain hole once defrosted. Many thanks.

    Hello Tony

I have a similar water collection problem with my Liebherr wine fridge which is the 3 compartment version Service Number 9983137-06. Water is collecting in the top compartment only. Design seems to be different as the stainless steel cover at the back of the top compartment doesn’t have screws; there are three clips. Do I still need to take this out to access the drain hole as it seems much more difficult and I don’t want to break anything.

    regards

    Paul
