    The light inside the fridge is flickering?Does it just need a new bulb?

    On the front it says Vario Electronic.

    Its usually on the wall inner near the salad trays.
    If its a normal bulb it may need screwing down a little more or the prong of the bulb holder which touches the centre of the bulb may need teasing forward. WITH THE APPLIANCE UNPLUGGED FIRST :plug:

    thanks-i will go and look now.So is the bulb likely to be a bayonet cap? I have tried to loosen it (with the fridge off) but its not moving.

    The numbers are similar but not fully coming up 😕
    Nevertheless, it is a screw in bulb so it sghould come ot with a ant-clockwise turn. Jus be careful t doesnt break and cut you ❗

    I do need to be careful because it isnt moving.I am defrosting it overnight-I think I will try it again when it is completely dry-any other tips how to loosen it then?Wd 40?

    Does the lamp flicker with the door open or is it when you cheat/close the door ? Is there a little switch on the side of the lamp housing ? If there is , is it showing a red segment ? If present , this may be a winter switch which will keep the lamp on at roughly 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} with the door closed – Try switching this switch off if its present .

    No there is no switch.I thought i had fixed it then-i switched it on again and it had stopped flickering-i switched it off and fitted the housing cover-then it started flickering again.grr..
    If i look at where the bulb goes in,there seems to be a seal round it-a bit like a rubber seal.

    It will more than likely need a new door s/w.

    The contacts tend to “soot” up on them.

    Not really and TBH its pretty in expensive 😉
    Taking the model as KGV3104GB/01 as thats the nearest I can come up with, the light switch is 067747 app £8 Plus the usual.
