    Hi

I have a Lofra Curva range oven Model CD96MFE, the electric oven has two compartments.

I recently changed the top element combined grill element, but now the bottom element in the small non fan oven has gone, which I now need to change it, but my problem is I don’t know how to access it ? I have removed the back panel and can see the electrical connections and the two screws holding the element in place, however, I cannot see how I remove it from inside the oven cavity.

There do not appear to be any screws holding the bottom or side panels in place to allow the floor to be lifted ? can anyone advise as to how I gain access to the element to change it ?

Also when I do get to change it the bulb or diode in the small oven, behind the small amber light housing which obviously lights up until the oven reaches its set temperature has also gone, I believe it is just a push fit into a very brittle connector, does anyone know what the details are of this bulb/diode so I can change it at the same time

    Many Thanks

    Pat

I don’t know the cooker but, usually they just pull out from the rear. You might need to cut the insulation to allow it to be removed but, it should come out that way.

If it’s the indicator neon on the facia that you mean, they’re often a pain as you need to get to the back of the facia so, hob top lifted to get to it.
