Looking for an American style side by side fridge freezer

I’m looking for an American style side by side fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser but need a self fill one as we cannot get a water supply to where we want to place the unit.Does anyone have any ideas of ones that dont need to be plumbed in?

I’m afraid you probably won’t find one that can work without a water supply.

I think whirlpool did one a few years back but havn’t seen one since. Just do your self a favour and don’t buy a Samsung.

I know everyone here seems to slate Samsungs but i was looking at the Samsung RSG5DURS because it seems to have much more room inside, does anyone have one and surely there must be 1 realiable samsung some where… 😀

After issues with my freezer I subscribed to which for a pound on trial. Just been looking myself and the samsungs are rated as the worst there is for reliability by users on there.

I’d steer clear myself judging by some on the reviews. I was suprised to see Beko as second top to siemans.

Not sure what the odds would be on that? But as they produce about 8,000 per month worldwide I’m sure someone somewhere has one that works and stays working for a year or two at least? 😉

By the way, if you can’t get a water supply to the f/freezer you can always chuck a bag of ice cubes in the dispenser hopper as that will work just fine and store safely for a few weeks. Not so with dispensing chilled water though I’m afraid you’ll need a plumbed water supply for that to work. 🙁
