looking for ideas on parts or spairs for dishwasher part.

Hi guys, I think i found the problem with my hotpoint dishwasher DWF40, i think the fault is on the timer board (pbc board).
does anyone know were i could get replacements parts for the board (the box shaped things on it, so i can solder new ones in.

or where i could get hold of a new board (timer)?
as ebay or other web sites including this one seems to only have them at £70+ and i feel thats is awful expensive! surly there are cheeper ones out there.

I think “the box shaped thing” is a relay. It should be available to purchase from an electronics components supplier. There should be identification on to the relay as to its rating etc.

Yes i thought the same, but there is two box shaped things? One black and one blue, think they both need replacing. :-/

If you think they both need replacing, then replace them, can you post numbers of the said “things” as they are not easy to read of picture, perhaps someone will be able to help you source them.

Before going to the trouble of sourcing a replacement relay why not just clean up the burnt relay pin and resolder it?

I think you’ll find it then works OK. 💡
