I am looking to buy a new full size dishwasher and would be grateful for any recommendations or ones to avoid. Our budget is around £300

We are soon to have a water meter fitted to our property so I am wondering whether there are certain dishwashers that will use less water than others.

As our kitchen is open to the living room, no door, I would want to avoid any particularly noisy models.

The only dishwasher we have previously owned was a compact one that did a full load in 52 minutes. I do not know if this is a typical time for a cycle. Can some dishwashers do a load quicker than others?

Any other points I should be considering?

Look at the Bosch range. 😉

    A Bosch SGS43C02 is around £300.

But I’d rather have the quality of a Siemens SE25M275 for around £400. They are extremely quiet 🙂

Take a look at the Bosch SGS46E12GB, latest model circa £300, 4 programme , 5 temperatures, half load option, very quiet at only 49db and comes with a two year guarantee . Or GB`s Siemens slightly quieter at a mere 47db and comes with a five year warranty.
