    I hope upon hope someone on here can help my huge problem.
    It all started on Jan26th I bought a Daewoo Fridge/Freezer from Ideal World shopping channel paid £259 by debit card, money has already been taken from my account.
    Received an email from them on the 28th with a dispatch Ref No which is DW11551920 and saying goods will be with me by the 3/02/2012. The 3rd passes and no fridgefreezer, I start ringing Ideal World and they do not know who the couriers for Daewoo are, as Ideal world say that they buy direct from the manufacturer, Today I ring Daewoo directly and they inform me that HI Distribution are their couriers, I get through to HI Distribution and give them my dispatch ref no and my delivery address, now they do not know where it is. I have been told my Ideal world if I want a refund I have to wait 28days, or wait until the goods arrive, my problem is I cannot afford to wait 28days for a refund I need a fridge freezer as soon as possible. Can anyone suggest what I should do.

    Hi

    Get back to ideal world shopping and tell them to sort it out as its their responcibility not HI’s . you purchased from world shopping.Contact your CC and state non delivery and get your account credited quicker.

    Hi Bryan, thanks for your reply.
    I have just spoken to Ideal World, and they say my goods were giving to HI to be delivered, and that Ideal world do not have to be held responsible for what the delivery co has done with my goods. I am in the process of dealing now with Trading standards, who cannot believe how Ideal world customer services have been dealing with this. It is so hard trying to make sense from Ideal world India call centre.

    Should have bought locally..

    But at the end of the day..The retailer has a contract with their delivery company (HI) not you.Your contract is with Ideal World.
