ParticipantHi,
My 2011 ISE W1607w washing machine has always made quite a racket.
So after changing the water pump and the door seal I thought I’d gather opinions on what it might be? It’s a definite knocking and as I said it’s now a new issue.
Here’s a video of the noise:
I can’t see (hear) where it is coming from! Worst on 1400 spin, less on 1200, nothing on 800…
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Charlie

Maybe the heater is not secure between the inner drum and outer tub?

Here’s a video of an ASKO machine with the same noise all be it quiter as the machine is together. The ISE is basically an ASKO machine with some differences.
And also (noisier)

Wow, not the sort of machine you would want kids in the same room with. Will that drum flopping about severed fingers an inevitable outcome. I’ve never seen these machines in action before but the first video the bearings/drum shaft are the issue. As might well be the case with the OP’s machine?

Yes, the way the drum separately moves around the casing at the front is certainly different. Surprisingly though there is no forward movement just side to side movement so fingers are not at risk.
