Lower Sprayer not working Baumatic BDW 14

The lower sprayer arm on my Baumatic BDW14 is not going round so the lower tray doesn’t get washed.

I have checked the arm which is perfectly clean.

The machine has an option to use just the top tray which prevents the bottom sprayer bar from operating so I wonder if there is an electrical fault that is causing it to act as if this is activated (the 1/2 option light is NOT lit)

Is there a way to reset the machine to check this is not the case or any other ideas.

The solenoid device on the circulation motor which switches between the upper and lower baskets will most likely have failed in the ‘up’ position. It is possible that the pcb is no longer signalling, but I haven’t come across that so far.

Circ pump assembly is a lot of money to spend on a cheap Chinese appliance……..

How old is the dishwasher? Give Baumatic a ring it might be under a parts guarantee???
