LPG convert to Natural Gas ?

Hi, I’m not sure whether I will have to purchase a new cooker as we are changing over to natural gas heating etc. As our Cannon Carrick LPG is only 4 years old and in excellent condition and was expensive it would help if Cannon would tell me if it’s possible to convert our cooker to natural gas.

I am finding it difficult to get an answer on this query. If you unable to answer I would appreciate if you would pass onto your technical / gas engineer please.

Have a look in the handbook and it will tell you if you can and maybe it’ll list the jet sizes.

Thanks for your reply. The handbook only states Natural gas to LPG parts.

In any case think you need to get a Gas Safe registered guy to do it, sometimes bypass has to be changed too.

Thanks for the reply Seamy, Yes I agree I would not be doing this myself. I would be getting an authorised Gas Safe registered person to convert. First before I call I would like to know can I convert from LPG to Natural Gas ? .

Hi

Something tells me from memory (a long time ago) 😉 that you could only convert from natural to LPG and not the other way round, but I could be wrong.

Had a look a the parts list, there is no conversion kit that I can see. I would recommend you phone Hotpoint service in the first instance to inquire if it can be converted back to natural gas.
