    Hi Everyone,
Can anyone tell me if I buy an LPG cooker that has a mains connection, would it still work if it’s not plugged in. Would it still be a compliant LPG cooker if it’s not plugged into the mains electrical supply?
Long story but I am in the process of replacing a very old LPG cooker which we use a ignitor to light as the house it is in has no electrics whatsoever! It’s an old boat house in the Scottish highlands…. hence to power but that’s one of the things we like about the place.
The only battery ignition cooker I can find is a 500mm but we are replacing a 600mm, of which I can find no 600mm wide LPG cookers with battery ignition.
    Any help greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks in advance!

you will also have to be careful as some ovens use solenoids to control the flow of gas to the oven and grill
