w/pool type 4 flashes = drain problem but it drains ok when reset it will work ok for a few weeks, had a water chamber fitted abouit a year ago, anyone advise maybe preesue switch

Could be the owi sensor they get gunged up, sometimes cleaning them works or a new may be required, JJ

JJ is right – 4 flashes is OWI failure (that’s the black grid on the right of sump cavity). The fault occurs when the machine has drained and the OWI (being full of crud) tells the PCB the machine sump is still full. The machine continues to drain until the PCB “times out” the drain cycle – 4 flashes = no drain in the time allowed. Thoroughly clean the OWI with a toothbrush; I always remove them to clean as some of the hard fat can move and the problem can reoccur. 😉
