Hi All I have just spent an hour trying to undo a Dishwasher Aquastop hose, we live in a very hard water area and there was a build up of calcium on the threads which I managed to loosen with some decalcification fluid.

However I am now ready to put it all back together having cleaned the inline filter and was wondering if there is anything I can use to lube the thread to help next time I have to clean the filter?

I did a search but could not find anything specific, what would you do?

A little PTFE tape on the thread before fitting 😉
