Lump of ice

I have a Hotpoint HM315NI Fridge/Freezer, and my problem is that an ice lump builds up at the top of the right water drain slope in the fridge. Only on the right. The size of the lump shown is about 2″ long. The centre water drain hole is clear, I have no water under the lower trays, the setting is 2.5. Why is this?

This will be caused by a slight insulation failure or where the suction pipework is too close to the liner. If it’s out of warranty then it will continue to work quite happily for years to come. All you need to do it knock it off every now and then.
