Another wonderful built in disaster. Needs a plumber round so that I can get it out fully. :rolls:

    Pnc. 9146744010/01

It will wash and drain OK.

When set to spin it ramps up to speed for a couple of seconds then cuts out. Set to long spin it does this for a couple of times then cuts off completely.
I suspect the motor but it sounds OK and is smooth on wash.

Any other suggestions for when I return?

    Jim.

Well until you can get access to it fully it’s difficult to predict. Certainly the emphasis being on the motor and worn brushes being the most likely. Testing it on wash under load would certainly rule the brushes out for the most part anyway. Tacho’s are a caution of course on these and not forgetting the dreaded timer. 🙁

I didn’t have a load in it but I am informed that it does wash perfectly fully loaded which would also rule out the usual loose tacho methinks.

Oh flip, then it’s either motor or more probably timer? 🙁

Thanks for replies, rather than waste another visit I did phone the landlord and explain the possible outcome. Needless to say he or in fact she was most dischuffed and has opted to replace it. 😥

I realise it’s all too late now but this is the no. 1 classic fault on the 513296 / 513316 timer/mod unit – clicks off the spin.
