I put a new timer/module on this machine just over a month ago. Fault- Continually filling and nothing else. All fine once fitted. Ive now had a call to say that on dryer cycle the clothes are coming out hot as its not doing the cool down bit at end of cycle. Im not sure if this is a fault or its like this on certain settings. If it is fault, what should i be looking for?

    Thanks

Is this the first time they have used the dryer since you fixed the machine?

Its more than likely nothing to do with the previous repair. Sounds like the dryer isn’t taking in cold water. Check wiring / valve, you know the normal stuff.

Re: Lux Intergrated Washer Dryer No Cool Down?

Went back to check out this machine and found the hose from the bottom of the condenser to the pump completley blocked with gunge and limescale. I thought this must be the cause of the problem so cleaned it out and checked out everything else and away i went. Got call back to say its doing exactly the same thing.
Now i have checked everything on this machine. The water valve operates, condenser is clean, outlet pump operates on dry cycle, heater works and cuts out when dryer timer gets to cool down symbol and fan operates. Why are clothes coming out “steaming hot”?
Could it be the valve breaking down causing this?

    Thanks

its more likely an airflow issue, or ud get an error code….id check the pump filter isnt partially bloced too. it could also not be spinning right well, they just havent noticed?
