machine wont start

AEG L75480wd, first problem was the machine wouldn’t drain, checked pump but seemed clear, now it won’t start a cycle but countdown timer still shows decreasing time. possibly door switch ? although can hear a healthy clunk when door locks and unlocks.

There’s an antiflood switch on the floor pan. If you’ve flooded the base checking the pump filter then the antiflood safety switch may have tripped and the machine won’t start.

OR, worse still you put the machine on its side and water has got in the electrics? 😯
