Made to measure oven glass door

Has anybody had experience of having a glass door made to measure?
I did a repair a while ago and the customer said that she had had the door replaced after it shattered. She said the door was made to measure and cost about £25. At the time I thought she must have been at the sherry but doing a google search I can see a couple of companies offering this service.
Don’t know how much they charge but I wondered I any other engineers had use them?

that would be ok if the door was all clear glass but they rarely are
