Could you tell me how to change the main fan element on an AEG Competence U7101-4? I think it is this element as the oven heats up on Speedcook but nothing else.

Totally isolate the power (cooker wall switch and cooker trip switch on consumer unit).
Inside oven cavity you will see the 4 screws holding the back plate in front of the fan, remove backplate to expose full access to the element. Beyond that it is all too apparent what to do next. Reassemble in reverse order.
