Had a PZ7 now for 6 months or so. Lovely, well nailed together cooker but I am wondering why the main oven fan runs on for so long after the oven is switched off. Haven’t timed it but it must run for what seems like nearly an hour. Is this normal? Wouldn’t mormally bother me but as it’s a kitchen/diner layout, the noise gets irritating after a while ( the usual, slightly grumbly bearing type fan noise like 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of fan ovens!).

Can’t find any info on this particular model……

The cooling fan will often run on for a period after cooking; it will be waiting for the thermostat to cool down and drop out. With a well made, well insulated oven, this could take a while. If it’s noisy already, you have a problem and should use your guarantee.

The actual fan motor in the oven would normally cut out when the oven is switched off.
