Main Oven On Belling XOU 594 Not Working

Hi

I have just moved house and the Belling XOU 594 main oven doesn’t work.

When I turn the knob there is very little resistance, there is no noise suggesting the oven is trying to work but can’t.

The smaller top oven works perfectly well.

Is this a fixable problem or do I need to replace the oven?

you could repace the selector switch or thermal regulator but theres no guanrantee that is the reason.

your best option is to call out an engineer, because guesswork can be expensive, and otherwise you then have to work out how to replace the part too…

alternatively of course the oven could be in auto/time-not-set mode 😛

Have to agree with previous poster, most likely clock not set properly.
