    This may be a silly question but what makes the mains terminal block on Belling ovens ( made in Turkey ) and Rangemaster ovens burn. Had 3 of these recently.

    The poor material structure that they are built of I would imagine… Ive had a few myself on Beko cookers and they were Turkish built too.

    in general they burn up because of poor installation, wire bridging links not tightened, poor cable fitting and not fitting earth sleeving on the bare earth then tightening it down on to one of the phase wires.
