Just wondering which wash is better:

    1. 60C no prewash
    2. 90C with prewash

one has no prewash and the other has a higher temperature

    Thanks guys!

    Hi
Highest temp, no need for prewash. Use a powder or tablet (not liquid)
Once a month with no laundry 😉

Thanks guys! Yes, I had a look at the article and it was the article which lead me to post that question

It is because in my washing machine, the highest temperature with no prewash is 60C.

From the article, it seems it is suggesting that i should try for something higher…but my highest temperature is 90C BUT with prewash…

so was asking which one to go for to get the best benefit…! Thanks!

    Re: Maintenance Wash

    Ah I see.

90 is better but 60 is sufficient. To avoid the pre-wash thing just don’t put the detergent in there, but in the main wash compartment of the soap drawer and it shouldn’t take that until the main wash fill.

Thanks kwatt! – I actually don’t really use pre-wash (i.e. never put anything on the right hand side of the compartment) so hopefully this works – Ok – will try your method!
