Since this is the umpteenth time I’ve seen this, let me be crystal clear here…

In order to login and see your details you must ask to link your forum user account to the company account.

It is NOT automatic.

I won’t add brands automatically either, I don’t know what you do and don’t repair, you have to do that yourself after logging in to your account.

Not having a go, just making it completely clear.

The WTA web site version of Find an Engineer, called Find a Member still needs an overhaul.

If I enter my own postcode and select 10 mile radius I get a map of North America & Canada. :rolls:

If I enter my postcode only and 25 miles I do not appear at all. 😥

If I enter my full address and postcode and 25 miles then and only then do my details appear. 😕

What exactly are you entering?

I enter OL2, Oldham and even Manchester and up pops IADOM.

And, can I just say, not many people will enter your own postcode. 😉

Ah ha.

If you put in your own postcode you won’t appear. It assumes that you know where you are and shows other “dealers” within the distance set. Which kinda makes sense, the assumption being that if you’re that close (in the same street) you know about the dealer there.

But its only the WTA one that works like that, the UKWG’s and Adrians Findmyengineer.co.uk work correctly with my own postcode. 😕
