Margherita A1635 filter removal

Hi people any one out there help with this prob I suspect filter / pump is blocked I try to remove the black filter cap from bottom right, behind kick plate but can only turn about 1 inch anti-colckwise when I pull I cant release filter cap to veiw inside am I doing something wrong here
prob is water not pumping away 🙁

You have a foreign body in the inlet to the pump, preventing the filter from rotating.

Drop end of drain hose into a washing up bowl and let gravity drain the water. Then, tip machine back, undo the screws around the filter and the pump will drop out underneath. This will allow you access the hoses and deal with obstruction that way.

Power off, of course.
