    Water is not going in fitted new inlet valve solinoid but still no water going in. The control on this model is a turn knob, ive tried advancing through the cycle water pumps out but no water going in ?

    If you move it to a wash position, does the circulation pump run?

    The circulation pump was not running, turned the end with screwdriver and then all worked fine. This must mean the pump needs to spinn before the water is let in ! Thanks for your help, Penguin 45. 🙂

    I had the dreader phone call this morning `dishwashers not working` GREAT .
    I take it it will need new motor for the pump ? any idear on prices ?

    It probably just needs a new start/run capacitor. The value in uF will printed on the case; most can be found in the Shop@ facility in the dishwasher universal spares section.

    Being a Chinese jobbie, I’d be very wary of spending any real money on the thing.
