Dishwasher programme will only move on if I turn the knob manually thro each stage, then it fills, washes, drains etc… ok.
It has been suggested it could one of two problems – either the programme timer has gone, or it could be the element.
However I have also noticed that the water never heats up! I want to be sure that it’s the element that’s the problem before I invest in spares and take the machine to bits tho!Any ideas please? Once I know what’s wrong I’m hoping it’s easy to fix!

Oh joy – another Chinese one.
Safety cut-out tripped most likely. Remove left hand side panel to access and push the button (With the power off, of course.). Some of these are non-re-set and have to be replaced – contact spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you need to order a replacement.
Curious that the timer will not advance from any position. Normally, clicking it past the heat positions should allow it to run on.
Just for fun, put ‘Haier AND dishwasher’ into the search facility for this forum only to see what you’re up against.
These little horrors are £180 for a reason……….
