BlockedI’m being dragged in to a ‘Lawsuit’ between a Worldwide famous Actor and a much loved TV Guest that now resides in London and Cardiff.
The Lawsuit is between a UK National Fixed Cost Repair firm and the Actor.
It’s a Bosch Dishwasher that was attended to in London by 2 different engineers before the said company sent one of it’s own engineers. Anyways… I had a phone call from said company asking if we could collect the appliance from Cardiff (As it was being moved from London to Cardiff) and the company engineer would attend my unit to repair the appliance when parts already ordered were ‘In Stock’.
Anyway, he did attend. The parts swap didn’t fix the issue. So he ordered more, then came back again weeks later. Another parts swap, no fix.
Long story cut short:
Appliance is at my unit. Company wants it delivered back ASAP, but Actor refuses to take procession until case has gone to court. I’ve spoken to the Actor, and he understands it’s nothing to do with me, but has asked if I can keep it in my unit for now.
He also asked: Could I determine the fault independently and report back.
Now: Here’s the ‘Welcome Mat’.
I said no, as Bosch Group keep all their diagnostic equipment / Tech info etc within their group and I have no access to this and given the current state of the repair process, I do not want to touch it. He has asked if someone wrote to me, would I put that in writing.
I of course said yes.
So… Maybe a door has opened for Tech info information to become more public?
I dunno, but thought I’d post this here and get thoughts.

Ok, when I get the letter, I’ll post it here before I reply to ensure we get the lack of Tech Info issue in.
I’m not sure what’s going on TBH, but when he phoned me, he was as nice as a cupcake with a hidden M16 inside it.
Basically, he’s got a major issue with said company!
