Maytag F07 fault

I have a Maytag MWA 09149 WH/1 that will not complete cycle and comes up with F07 fault code. The washing is still very wet , the pump though seems to be running ok .
Any idea what this may be.

fault is

short circuit detected in motor control triac

no really a diy repair as you probably wont know what a triac is

as a long shot we get the same fault on a zanussi machine when the motor gets damp so you can check for this looking for leaks on the motor
after that
