I have a Maytag side-by-side GC2227CDFB (about 15 years old). It has started to gather excessive condensation in the fridge drawers on the left side near the vent to freezer.
The defrost element is working, but there was a lot of frost/ice at a pipe join in the freezer. There was a putty like substance here, but it seems to be worn away.
Both door gaskets ‘seem’ OK, by using a paper sliding test, but some parts of the gasket are compressed more than others.
Can anyone suggest what might be causing the issue.
