Maytag GC2228EHB double door fridge feezer ice maker

Cust wants me to investigate this further, I dont normally work on too many of these.
The ice maker tray does fill if I rotate the timer manually, it then does nothing. After it freezes, the tray does not rotate or dispense the cubes. I am thinking it could be the ice maker timer but its a really expensive part, any ideas folks?

hi mate, you’re rotating the timer manually? how are you doing that?
it won’t dispense? you mean harvest?
course it’s an expensive part, but it’s a top of the range machine.
the icemaker only comes complete now, you can’t get just the module any more.
you got any more info?

sign on ice maker module says dont rotate 😳 this brakes a week plastic coupling, but as it did not work it was possibly busted any way.
White cover off 4 screws out slip off front module easy to follow circuit possibly motor burnt out check grey plastic prongs from plastic cam possibly now brocken. As they dont sell the module it has to be a replacement ice maker unit from Maytag or check agains some of the older whirlpool side/side fridge freezers as they have same unit also some bosch/siemens side /side fridge freezers.
