    I’m replacing the solenoid valve on this machine due to a fault, customer is also complaining of white scaley deposits left in glass from ice cubes when they’ve melted. The filter has recently been changed- any suggestions other than replace the pipes, it’s thirteen yrs old.

    A common complaint in hard water areas. Ice stored for even a short time in a frost free environment will shrink as water is removed from the surface leaving behind the dissolved minerals.
    Best tip is to use the ice from the top of the hopper and not store ice for long periods.
